Tickets for Papal ceremonies are free of charge.
For the general audiences, tickets can be collected at the Bronze Door (under the right-hand colonnade in St Peter’s Square) between 3pm and 7pm on the preceding afternoon, or on the morning of the audience starting at 7am.
The Wednesday General Audience starts at 9:30 am; however, the Holy Father begins his tour among the various sections at 9am. Therefore it is recommended to be in place by 8:45am. Please take into account the time it will take to pass the security controls (metal detectors) as well as the inevitable waiting lines.
